EMMALYN BROOKE

Emmalyn Brooke is still meeting family and friends.  In August, she attended her very first family reunion and was able to meet most of daddy's family.  The visit included meeting her great-grandma, great aunts & uncles, many cousins & even several great-great aunts & uncles.  There was even one great-great-great uncle.  Her favorite thing was helping daddy pass out candy from the Sugar Shack (built by her granddad).  Although her first stay in a hotel was pretty exciting.  Especially since we didn't have to sleep in a tent like everyone else!  

Brooke is daddy's biggest cheerleader at flag football practice, and she even met his barber!  That was a treat for great-grandpa to ride in the back seat with her on the way to get his hair cut.

Daddy received a surprise at work when he walked in to see 2,100 diapers in the middle of his office.  What a blessing!

With mommy being home during the day, Brooke has been to lunch & play dates.  She met mommy & daddy's god-sons for a delicious meal at Moe's, and their god-daughter, Emily, came over for our first play date.  Basically, Emily played and Brooke slept!

It was a busy month, and September was here before we knew it.  We can't wait to share all the exciting things that are happening this month as well.
