April 2022 - September 2022
It's hard to believe Miss Brooke finished up 2nd grade in the spring. The spring, summer and fall has been busy with activities and watching the new church building being built. It should be finished in a few weeks. In the meantime, Brooke enjoyed a vacation to Massanutten, eight weeks of summer camp and fun activities with friends. which included several birthday parties.

She started 3rd grade at the beginning of September, and she has been working hard in five subjects: Bible, History, Language Arts, Math & Science. She seems to be enjoying her new school and the Liberty University Online Academy curriculum.

She also decided to do another year with her American Heritage Girls Troop as a Tenderheart. Last year she earned several badges, attended a troop Tea Party, and wrote letters to her penpal in NC. We are looking forward to see what new badges she earns this year. Next year she will have the opportunity to move up to the Explorer age group for girls in 4th-6th grade.

Miss Brooke is growing up so fast. She's becoming a little lady. She still loves to make a mess with her art supplies and reads herself to sleep almost every night. Last week, she read 5 chapter books in 3 days.

It has been neat to see her interact with kids younger than herself as we started a preschool through the church. She is kind and gentle especially with the little girls. They love to pretend and re-enact scenes from Miraculous Ladybug. She's even planning her Halloween costume to be another Ladybug character.

Praying you both are doing well! We look forward to hearing from or seeing. you soon!

Love,
Jeff, Jenny & Emmalyn Brooke
