EMMALYN BROOKE

Emmalyn Brooke is getting so big & even sassier! She is a little comedian and loves to make others laugh. She has moved into a big girl bed, and she is starting to potty train. Our summer was filled with back yard activities, playing with cousins and a trip to Pittsburgh.  

 

We surprised her with a visit to Idlewild Park just outside of Pittsburgh where she was able to meet Daniel Tiger & Katerina Kitty Kat. She absolutely LOVED it! She was running around and super excited to ride on Trolley. The next day we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo. We saw sea lions, deer, kangaroos, elephants, rhino, tigers, and lots more. She loves animals, especially puppy dogs. She is very fascinated with the puppy dog filter on Snapchat.  

 

We went to a wedding a few weeks ago. She had a great time dancing and sipping water from her fancy tea cup. She was even chased by the bride's nephew. It was so cute, but she wasn't really having it.  

 

Football is still one of her favorite sports. She loves cheering for daddy & his flag football team. She still shows an interest in swimming and soccer. I caught her watching women's swimming on the Olympics.

Coloring is one of her all time favorites. Her aunt entered her in a art contest, and she won $25 for her age group. She had to draw a picture showing how she shows God's love to others. She drew on a white sheet of paper that said "We show God's love by having people over." We were so surprised when we received word that she had won!!!

 

We are gearing up for the upcoming holidays. We still need to find her a costume for Trunk or Treat. It will probably be Minnie Mouse, Doc McStuffins, or Peppa Pig!!  Who knows?!?!?
