EMMALYN BROOKE

We are so sorry this is a few days late.  We wanted to share all of the birthday celebrations, which just ended yesterday.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!

We have been celebrating for just over a week.  The festivities began the weekend of July 4th.  We traveled to see Papaw & G.G. and the rest of Jenny's family.  Although the weather was a little rainy, we were able to see fireworks from inside the car.  The next day was a pool party and cake with everyone to celebrate Emmalyn Brooke's and Papaw's birthdays.  Brooke had a great time with her cousins, aunts, uncles & grandparents.

On Wednesday, a few local famliy members came over to celebrate with two giant cupcake cakes and ice cream.  Of course, she opened more presents, and her aunt from Pittsburgh just had to FaceTime during all the fun!

The big party was on Sunday after church.  Her Grammy and Pap came down from Pennsylvania.  She even had a special guest fly in from Germany. Again, there were a lot of cupcakes.  This time we had a cookout, balloons (or as Brooke calls them, "ba-ba-ba"), a pinata, party favor bags for all of her friends, and she received several more gifts.  Even though we requested a no gifts party, friends and family could not resist buying her a little something.  In addition to her gifts, many have made donations in her honor to Bethany Christian Services.  So far, the amount received is $625.  There have been several others who have said they will be donating as well.  It is amazing to see how many people love our little girl.
